Explore Australia’s second oldest zoo and the only major metropolitan zoo in Australia to be operating on a non-profit, conservation charity basis. The zoo takes you on a explorey of over 2,500 attractive and exotic animals from around the world, including the Bolivian Squirrel Monkey, Lemur and the must-see famous Giant Pandas, Wang Wang and Funi.

Take the time to also visit the Immersion, Adelaide zoo’s most recent enclosure in the second phase of the South-East Asia exhibit, providing you the ultimate experience of walking through the tropical jungle and just within reach from the Sumatran Tigers, attentive Orangutans, Siamang and many others.

For families with kids, keep them entertained at the Children’s Zoo with a number of fun activities, including touching, holding and feeding the animals in the Children's Zoo. Then, head over to the Envirodome, a roof garden exhibit that offers an environment-focused learning and houses various plants, and stick and leaf insects such as the Splendid Tree Frog and Pot Belly Seahorse!
