Your coach trip explores the vibrant mix of historical and contemporary structures in the city. Begin your journey at the heart of the South Australia’s capital, the Victoria Square. Travel along the grand boulevard King William Street and Gouger Street and reach the Parliament House and State Library. Visit the oldest Anglican church in the city, the Trinity Church. Built in 1838, it contains the elements of surviving Anglican church building in South Australia.
Continue to Greenhill Road and stop at Haigh’s chocolate factory. Refresh with a complimentary tea or coffee while you sample fine cocoa concoctions. Later, stroll around the Australia’s first pedestrian street mall, the Rundle Mall.
On your way to the quaint suburbs of North Adelaide, tour around the Adelaide Oval, the country’s most notable cricket grounds. Afterward, marvel at the magnificent St. Peter’s Cathedral that dignifies the backdrop to the oval grounds. Continue your tour at Colonel Light’s Lookout on Montefiore Hill for spectacular panoramic views of Adelaide.
You may choose to conclude your tour with a delicious lunch at Glenerg before returning to the city on the Glenerg tram—the only tram line remaining in the South Australia, or board the famous ‘Popeye’ boat for a memorable scenic cruise along the Torrens River.
