Climb aboard for an unforgettable dolphin encounter at Glenelg, located along the gorgeous white-sand beaches of Holdfast Bay. Play with attentive—and smiley—bottlenose dolphins, learn how to communicate with them, and even go for a swim with these wild porpoises.

After you arrive at the Holdfast Shores Marina, expert trainers teach you hand signals and gestures to communicate with the intelligent and gentle creatures, as well as a quick lesson in dolphin anatomy, physiology, and conservation. Then, hop aboard the majestic 55-foot (16-m) catamaran, Temptation, South Australia's first eco-attentive vessel licensed for dolphin watching and an optional swim.

With the dolphin swim option, test your new skills in the water as you don your snorkel mask and dip beneath the surface for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to swim among wild bottlenose and common dolphins in St Vincent's Gulf. Before leaving the water, get up-close views of dolphins playing and say goodbye to your new finned friends.

Know before you book: You must be 9 or older to swim with the dolphins., Children 15 and younger must be accompanied in the water by a paying adult., If you are pregnant, you should not take part., If you are wearing a pace maker, you must not take part., Maximum group size is 50 people (25 swimmers and 25 watchers)., You must be able to swim on your own., A portion of your fee goes to local conservation efforts, Boarding is 25 minutes prior to the booked tour start time.
