Description:

Aruba’s warm, life-filled waters offer experienced divers unparalleled aquatic adventure. Head out for a 1- or 2-tank dive to explore this underwater realm as you swim by shipwrecks, coral reefs, and brightly colored sea life, including dolphins, barrel sponges, and reef-dwelling tropical fish.

Venture out into open water aboard a custom-designed dive boat, snacking on fresh fruit as the turquoise sea stretches out between you and the swaying palms and dazzling beaches of Aruba’s scenic coastline. Grab your tank and weights, and dip beneath the waves as you immerse yourself in this colorful world.

Swim along behind your guide as you traverse the sandy seabed and make your way to a vibrant, teeming reef. Watch for moray eels peeking out of crevices, giant barrel sponges—these “redwoods of the reef” can live up to 2,300 years—fearsome barracudas darting to and fro, and even delicate seahorses dancing in the gentle current.

As schools of yellow-striped grunts flutter by, follow your guide to one of Aruba’s famous wrecks. Diving down to depths of 20–100 feet (6–31 m), get up close to the World War II-era shipwreck Antilla, circle the wings of a sunken plane, or snap an underwater photo with the eerie partial hull of the tanker Perdernales.
