Description:

Your mountain cycling tour starts with a visit to the springs and tiny waterfalls of Argyropolis. Then you continue with a bus ride to the village of Myriokefala, at the northern slopes of the White Mountains, where you visit the famous church of the Panajia and break for coffee in Kafenio.

Then it's time for the cycling part. Bike down to the ancient settlement of Lappa to visit Roman and Byzantine ruins, as well as stop at an organic avocado farm. Back on the bike, you head down to the only freshwater lake in Crete, Lake Kournas. There's time enough to go swimming, go for a pedalo ride, or if you wish, just take a break and enjoy breathtaking views.

Later, there's a barbecue lunch in the charming countryside before you finally cycle down to the fishing village of Georgioupolis. If at any stage of the day you wish to hop back onto the mini bus for a rest, no problem. Just put your bike in the trailer and continue later.
