This small-group tour allows you to explore New Zealand winemaking with an itinerary tailored to your specific wine interests. Taste your way through the vintages of 2 carefully chosen vineyards before standing on high cliffs overlooking the beauty of the Tasman Sea.

Begin with a chat with your informed guide as you establish which wines you like and which you might be keen to learn more about. With the itinerary decided, set off along the coast with 2 boutique wineries in mind. It could be the famous whites of New Zealand: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Reisling. Or it could be the reds you fancy: Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Grenache. All of these selections and many more are produced in this region.

If you join the tour in the morning, continue to the cliffs overlooking Muriwai Beach to appreciate the rugged coastline, the surf sweeping in, and the gannet colonies of the Takapu Reserve.
