Discover Bangkok's long history of Italian influence on this full-day tour. Explore architecture at a historic library and railway station, see a famous temple fresco, and learn how these influences came about from your expert tour guide. Finish with a Thai lunch at the popular Jim Thompson House.

Begin your journey of Bangkok's Italian influences at the statue of Rama VI in Lumpini Park, where your guide gives you an overview of Thailand's Italian influence. Then make your way to the Neilson Hays Library to observe the building's classic stucco features and teak fixtures, designed by Italian architect Mario Tamagno.

Then continue on to the Rennaisance Revival-styled Hua Lamphong Grand Central Railway Station, which was also conceived by an Italian architect. Later, glimpse the exterior of the energy department's office and learn how this site used to be a private palace.

Head to Wat Rachathiwat to see a stunning fresco by Rigoli and wrap up the tour portion of the day at either the former parliament building of Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall or Wat Benjambophit, which is made entirely of Italian marble.
