Description:
Board the PS Murray Princess and float down Murray River, spotting a variety of Australia's flora and fauna along the nation's longest river. Experience the historic town, nature walk, and backwater wildlife trip on your 3-night cruise of the Murray River.
Day 1
Begin your journey at the historic town of Mannum, the birthplace of the Murray River, while you enjoy your welcome drink. As you cruise under the floodlight, watch out for the nocturnal wildlife on the riverbank of Mundarra.
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast, join your local, guided tour and visit the historic town of Murray Bridge. See the town heritage landmarks, including the first bridge that was erected at the Edwards Crossing. In the afternoon, cruise upriver and moor at Craignook.
Day 3
Go ashore for a guided nature walk to explore the local flora and fauna. Re-board and depart for the big river gorges of River View Lodge, where a explorey vessel awaits you for your backwater wildlife tour. Explore the amazing birdlife as you navigate the river's twists and turns. At night, join the stewards for pre-dinner drinks and the finale, the Captain's Dinner and Dance.
