Ride the historic Puffing Billy steam train through the spectacular Blue Dandenong Ranges on this day tour. Traverse the rich Yarra Valley and continue your journey with either a winetasting tour or a visit to Healesville Sanctuary, home to over 200 species of Australian wildlife.
Begin your tour with a pickup from your Melbourne hotel and sit back and take a break as you journey to the Blue Dandenong Ranges. Arrive at Sherbrooke Forest, the heart of the Dandenongs, and hand feed colorful crimson rosellas and king parrots. While here, enjoy traditional Australian billy tea with savory Vegemite spread and chocolate-and-coconut lamington cakes.
Continue to the town of Belgrave and board the famous Puffing Billy steam train. Soak up the scenery as you ride through the lush forest with tall mountain-ash eucalyptus trees and fern gullies. Cross the old wooden trestle bridge before disembarking at Menzies Creek.
