The Carpigiani University was established in 2003 by ice-cream machine maker Carpigianito help ice cream-making entrepreneurs and home cooks eager to make their own frozen treats to learn the basics of making gelato.

Whether you're a culinary master or just an enthusiastic foodie, this class is the perfect combination of mouth-watering gelato and entertaining, hands-on instruction. Enjoy an insightful presentation and a taste of some of the ingredients that go into traditional and more novel flavors of gelato. Learn how to produce cream-based or fruit-based gelatos that can be sugar-free and even dairy-free thanks to the use of soy or rice milk.

You may either follow the guide in a separate car or have the guide ride along with you in your vehicle. You will receive confirmation of your exact tour departure time and meeting point when you call to confirm your reservation., Transportation including hotel pickup and drop-off is available for an additional fee, payable on the day of your activity.
