Description:

Set out to explore Buenos Aires by bike as you pedal leisurely by the city’s vibrant barrios and landmarks. Learn about the culture of tango and the Argentine passion for soccer, and then stop to refuel with mate root tea and an alfajor on your journey through the so-called “Paris of the South.”

On the City North tour, follow your local guide as you ride along the leafy boulevards of affluent Retiro on your way to upscale Barrio Parque, home to Argentine soccer players and celebrities. Pedal by picnicking locals in the sprawling Bosques de Palermo, and in bohemian Palermo Viejo, admire the cobbled streets and trendy boutiques of this lively district before your tour concludes in refined Recoleta.

On the City South tour, your guide leads you from waterfront Puerto Madero along the riverside promenade of Costanera Sur to the Reserva Ecologica, where locals lounge on the grass and native bird species thrive. In La Boca, admire the iconic, colorful homes on the artists’ street Caminito and check out the La Bombonera stadium. Soak up the bustling market vibe amid the faded colonial architecture of San Telmo, and finish your tour at the historic Plaza de Mayo.
