Description:

Spend a day at Cairns ZOOM and Wildlife Dome to get a closer look at Australian wildlife. Experience an indoor rainforest, a reptile presentation, and native birds that fly freely around you. If you're feeling adventurous, challenge yourself with one of the ropes courses.

Your entry to this all-weather exhibit gives you the chance to be in the natural surroundings of native animals including frogs, turtles, freshwater crocodiles, and an abundance of colorful birdlife. Listen to educational wildlife shows and presentations, feed the birds, and come face-to-face with a huge saltwater crocodile in an underwater viewing tank.

Challenge yourself at 1 or all 4 of the ropes courses.

Mid-ZOOM
Mid-ZOOM is a great introduction to ropes courses, perfect for beginners to build confidence with tunnels, wall climbing, swings, and a cargo net.

Hi-ZOOM
For the adventurous, Hi-ZOOM has more complex crossings and 3 ziplines. Walk along internal walkways with a unique bird's-eye view of the layout of the Dome.

Dome-Climb
At the external Dome-Climb, take in spectacular views of the city, the Coral Sea, and the surrounding landscapes.

Power-Jump
Experience a free-fall adventure at Power-Jump. Attached by a rope, jump off a 42-foot (13-m) tower, making a rapid descent and a smooth landing thanks to a high-tech fan device.
