Description:

Experience the warmth and charm of a traditional Maya community in the ancient city of Coba. Hike through the lush jungle, zipline across a cenote, and rappel down through the cavern to take a dip in its crystal waters.

Arrive in Coba, an ancient Mayan city dating back to 100 BC, and a nearby inhabited Maya village. Explore La Iglesia, the pyramid located on the archaeological site, and climb its 130 steps for a panoramic view of the surrounding jungle. Visit an authentic Maya community, following a leader through the rain forest as they point out local flora and fauna used by locals to heal ailments and provide nutrition.

Continue your adventure as you zip-line across a natural sinkhole, known as a cenote, before rappelling into the cool groundwater below. End your day in Coba with a delicious meal served by some of the local Maya women.
