Description:

The aqua waters of the Caribbean await you after a lesson in scuba diving from a PADI-certified instructor. No experience is needed for this introductory dive off the shores of Playa del Carmen, home to one of the largest barrier reefs in the world.

Learn how to use your scuba equipment and get used to breathing under water in the comforts of a swimming pool. After this personalized lesson, journey to your dive location, no more than 40 feet (12 m) deep in crystal clear waters.

Once immersed in the ocean, marvel at a wide range of corals and marine life including blue tangs, angel fish, moray eels, and turtles. Know before you book: You must be 10 or older., You must be prepared to self-certify your health levels before beginning the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience. You must complete required PADI forms, when necessary., Participants in any diving activities should wait a minimum of 18 hours after diving before flying on a plane, in compliance with recognized diving safety standards., You must sign liability waivers before participating in this activity., Transportation to the dive shop for your activity is not included in the rates listed; hotel pick-up services can be arranged for an additional surcharge by using the contact information provided on your printed voucher.
