Home to more than 10,000 plants and animals, the South Carolina Aquarium features a state-of-the-art learning center that encompasses the mountain forest, coastal plain and ocean. Find amazing aquatic animals like river otters and loggerhead turtles. Don’t miss the rare albino American alligator which is only one of 50 in the world.

Roll up your sleeves and reach into the Touch Tank. The aquarium staff is always there to guide and answer questions while you explore reef creatures like the hermit crabs and sea urchins.
