Located within walking distance of the Shintomicho train station and the famous Tsukiji Fish Market, Tsukiji Soba Academy aims to spread authentic soba-making techniques around the world. Enjoy the privilege of learning this art form of one of academy's reputable graduates—or from its founder, Master Chef Akila Inouye himself.

Learn the academy's “Be radical” policy, based on the Japanese theory of mazumizu – meaning “water first” – and designed to make optimal use of the existing water in every ingredient. After demonstrating, your “sobatician” guides you through each step from preparing, mixing, and flattening the dough and cutting the raw ingredients to making the final, refined strips of soba.
