Description:

The coasts of Curacao are a study in opposites, from the bustling and well-populated East to the quiet and natural West. Explore the many facets of this island, from coast to coast, in just one day.

Start off on the eastern side of the island, in the colorful city of Willemstad. Visit downtown highlights like the picture-perfect floating market, Fort Amsterdam, and the restored mansions of Scharloo dating from the 1700s.

Sip on a bright blue beverage from the well-known Blue Curacao Liquor Factory before boarding the bus to the West Coast of Curacao. As you make your way, notice the hilly landscapes and valleys, unique beach coves, former plantation homes, and small fishing villages.

Stop at the Boca Tabla Cave, one of Curacao's most spectacular sites. Millions of years of pounding surf have carved a wide cavern underneath a limestone terrace; watch and listen to the surf roll in.

At the beach of Kleina Knip, jump in the clear, fresh water for a refreshing swim. Keep a lookout for the colony of flamingos that make their home on the salt flats of Jan Kok.
