Description:
Embark on an adventure tour of Fraser Island, exploreing all the natural attractions of this island paradise. Explore the lush rainforest of Pile Valley, swim in gorgeous Lake McKenzie and Lake Wabby, marvel at panoramic views atop Indian Head, and travel along the famous 75 Mile Beach.
Day 1
Board a spacious coach from the comfort of your hotel in the morning and head to your ferry crossing to Fraser Island. After the crossing, hop aboard your 4x4 for a ride along 75 Mile Beach’s vast expanses of white sand. Then, join a guided walking tour through the subtropical Pile Valley to see the looming height of ancient satinay trees.
Finish your day with a visit to Lake McKenzie and Lake Wabby, where you can dive into the crystal-clear waters or take a break on the sugar-soft beach, and a buffet dinner at your resort.
Day 2
Awake refreshed and ready for a trip to Eli Creek—the largest creek on the east coast of the island—to visit the infamous Maheno shipwreck site. Then, pass by the colored sands of the Pinnacle cliffs for great photo opportunities.
Afterward, climb to the top of Indian Head for spectacular beach and ocean views. Look out for sharks, rays, turtles, and even migrating humpback whales. Continue your tour to the Champagne Pools and take time to unravel at this naturally-formed jacuzzi.
Your adventure concludes with a drive back to the jetty, a ferry ride, and an afternoon departure back to your hotel.
