Start your day in the former papal enclave of Avignon. See the imposing Palais des Papes, home to several popes in the 14th century, and admire the magnificent ramparts surrounding the city. Gaze at the famous arches of the city's medieval bridge and explore the quaint streets and elegant squares lined with shady plane trees.
Admire the flamboyant colors of the cliffs and lavender fields as you drive through Luberon National Park to the charming town of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, famous for its paper mill and mythical spring. When you stop at the breathtaking hilltop village of Gordes, meander through its tight alleyways and gaze at the breathtaking view over the Luberon plain from its medieval castle.
