Wied iz-Zurrieq is a small harbor village with calm waters that provide shelter for passing fishermen. Near to this site lies the charming Blue Grotto. The cave's location and the way the sunlight reflects off the surface of the water leads to a stunning mirror effect with multiple bright shades of blue.
You continue on to explore Marsaxlokk, a small fishing village on the southern tip of the island. Stroll through the Maltese market and admire the colorful boats, known as luzzus, that fill the bay. This village is extremely popular with locals and tourists alike, with the market selling fresh fish and seafood caught that very morning.
