Description:

Explore an ancient Maya settlement that dates back to 400 BC with a full-day tour to Seibal. Get familiar with the history and beliefs of the fascinating civilization that once thrived here while touring the plazas, causeways, and pyramids of the archeological zone.

After your hotel pickup, the tour takes you south towards the lush Guatemalan jungle and the area of Sayaxché. Once you arrive, your knowledgeable guide leads you on a walk to explore the site and some of its more than 400 remaining structures.

Here you will see traditional Maya pyramids as well as a distinctive 3-tiered circular platform that dates back to the 9th century.
