Description:

Travel to Northern Arizona for a narrated tour of the Grand Canyon with some of the most experienced guides in the Southwest. Trek along a nature trail on the South Rim and take in sweeping panoramas on an optional helicopter ride over this natural wonder.

Ride through the scenic red rocks of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. Continue through the Ponderosa Pines of Flagstaff and past the dormant volcanoes of the San Francisco Peaks on your way to the South Entrance of the Grand Canyon. Enjoy a sit-down lunch, and then spend some time visiting historic buildings and museums like the Hopi House, the rustic El Tovar Lodge, the Grand Canyon Railway Station, and Kolb Studio.

Take in charming views at different points along the South Rim of the canyon, seeing some of the widest and deepest sections of the Grand Canyon and the mighty Colorado River. Take a mile-long (1.6-km) nature walk, gazing 14 miles (22 km) across the canyon to the North Rim. See Phantom Ranch and the Kaibab Suspension Bridge before your last stop at Desert View, where you can climb to the top of the Watchtower Observatory for breathtaking panoramic views.

On your return journey, admire the western edge of the Painted Desert and the Little Colorado River Gorge. Stop at the Navajo Reservation, where you can shop for authentic Native American souvenirs at the Cameron Trading Post.
