Revel in the beauty of the Grand Canyon—one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World—from the sky, soaring above the majestic park in a professionally piloted airplane before touching down to explore the Grand Canyon West—part of Hualapai Indian territory.
From Vegas, board your small and luxurious small aircraft and fly in comfort and style. Gaze out the window at the winding Colorado river, dramatic rock formations, and wild desert landscape as you approach the Grand Canyon, landing near Guano Point.
The Grand Canyon stretches across 277 miles (446 km) and drops to a depth of 4,770 feet (1,450 m), an enormous gorge that’s sure to leave you feeling tiny in comparison—particularly if you choose to walk out across the vertigo-inducing glass Skywalk for a plummeting view down to the bottom of the canyon.
With shifting hues of red and orange rock as a backdrop, sit back for a traditional Native American lunch in the style of the Hualapai tribe. As you enjoy your meal, listen to the legends and stories of these “people of the tall pines,” whose ancestral lands stretch along the southern side of the Grand Canyon.
After lunch, head back to the plane for a scenic return flight to Vegas, where landmarks and attractions of a more man-made nature await.
