Description:

Tour the youngest and largest Hawaiian island, the Big Island. Arrive in the middle of a lava field, a landing that almost seems like a moon landing. Lava, now solidified, has created wavy fields that spread out almost as far as you can see and then exit into a charming, lush tropical rainforest.

Stop at Royal Kona Coffee in the middle of a coffee-growing region. Amid this remarkable place of organic beauty, you can see coffee bean trees that seem to spring up among the other island foliage. The area also overlooks Kealakekua Bay, offering spectacular views of its pristine waters.

Among other fascinating sights, you head to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to see the world's most active volcano, then to a stunning black-sand beach where Honu (Hawaiian green sea turtles) often bask in the warm Hawaiian sunshine. You can also enjoy the beauty of Rainbow Falls National Park, walk through the Thurston Lava Tube, delight in locally made sweets, head to the Jaggar Museum, and explore historical sites.
