Description:

Every seat is a window seat on this tour above the Big Island's tropical rainforest and an active volcano. This air-conditioned adventure takes you over tropical rainforest, waterfalls, and the erupting cauldron of the active volcano Kilauea.

Depart from Hilo International Airport in air-conditioned comfort aboard a Cessna 208 Caravan, a high-winged aircraft that makes sightseeing easy. Every seat in this plane is a window seat, so you can sit back and take a break as you head out to see the current eruption activity of the hyperactive shield volcano Kilauea and the surrounding lava flows.

On your way to and from Kilauea, enjoy views of the tropical rainforest of the Puna district, with its lush green canopy and scenic coastline. From your provided headset, listen to your guide's narration as you travel over the city of Hilo, magnificent waterfalls, and even a macadamia nut farm. Once at the Kilauea cauldron, gaze inside to see red hot lava.
