Description:
Journey to Kangaroo Island in a luxurious 4-wheel-drive Land Rover Discovery. Over the course of your full-day tour, walk among a sea-lion colony, explore the island's largest park at Flinders Chase, and take in expansive ocean views at the Remarkable Rocks. Savor a barbecue lunch along the way.
From Kingscote Airport, head to Seal Bay and stroll with your guide among 600 sea-lion bulls, cows, and pups, learning about their fascinating daily lives. Then enjoy a morning meal of coffee, tea, and homemade biscuits before heading to Flinders Chase National Park.
Once there, drive through its verdant eucalyptus forest, look for wildlife at Rocky River, and marvel at the eroded rockery of Admirals Arch, a popular hangout for fur seals. Then take in the ocean's stunning blue expanse on your way to the Remarkable Rocks, geological wonders that formed more than 500 million years ago.
After inspecting these breathtaking granite “sculptures,” break for a delicious lunch of steak, potatoes, salad, and wine, freshly prepared by your guide. Top it off with sweet pears poached in Kangaroo Island red wine and sheep's milk yogurt. Once you're satisfied, continue to Koala Avenue to see these cuddly creatures sitting in the manna gums before returning to your starting point.
