Description:
Swaying grass, emerald forests, and the dramatic backdrop of the Hanalei Mountains transport you to this serene landscape that you’ll explore on horseback. This leisurely ride takes you across the open pastures of a working cattle ranch where you may wander through a herd of cows and their calves.
Arrive at the ranch and settle in for a brief orientation where you’ll learn everything you need to know about your horse for the day. Once you’re comfortable, hop in the saddle and head out into the sprawling fields. Instead of riding in the traditional nose-to-tail fashion, you’ll get to cruise right next to your family and friends—allowing you to share laughs along the way.
Continue on your ride and catch views of the piercing blue Pacific and the rugged Kauai vistas—all while hearing paniolo (cowboy) history from your guide. A camera is a must on this scenic adventure. You’ll stop several times to snap photos of this once-in-a-lifetime journey.
