Description:
Glide over Kauai’s lush valleys, colorful canyons, and charming coastlines on a helicopter flight over the island. From a specially designed touring helicopter, gaze out large viewing windows for incredible aerial views of this flourishing tropical paradise and its hidden natural wonders.
Lift off from the Princeville Heliport to explore spectacular sights you’ll only see from the air. The flight travels toward Hanapepe Valley then on to the dramatic cliffs of the Na Pali Coast—home of the legendary Bali Hai from the 1958 film, “South Pacific.”
Waimea Canyon, famously named the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” by Mark Twain, stretches more than 10 miles (16 km) long, 3,000 feet (900 m) deep, and a mile (1.6 km) wide. This canyon was formed by the collapse of a volcano and carved by the extreme rainfall on the island's central peak, Mount Wai'ale'ale.
Keep your eyes peeled for flowing waterfalls nestled in the hillsides before you touch down to conclude your tour.
