Take an unforgettable journey to Mount Kinabalu and hike above the clouds to reach the 13,435-foot (4,095-m) summit of Low's Peak, the world's 20th-most-prominent peak. Explore the spectacular Crocker Range and explore the secrets this UNESCO World Heritage site has to offer.
Begin your day with an early-morning pickup and travel to Kinabalu Park Headquarters to register your climb, collect your ID TAG, meet your mountain guide, and collect your packed lunch. Proceed to Timpohon Gate, where your journey and quest to conquer the summit of Borneo's highest mountain begins.
Depending on your fitness level, enjoy your hike towards Laban Rata Rest House at 10,735 feet (3,272 m), passing by captivating greenery ranging from oak and chestnut to alpine. Keep an eye on the various birds and wildlife as you breathe in the fresh air along with the cooling breeze of this mountainous environment.
Enjoy a buffet dinner, rest, and take a break, then wake up around 2 AM for supper and depart towards your hike to the summit at Low's Peak. Enjoy a spectacular view of the sunrise above the clouds of Mount Kinabalu before descending back to Laban Rata and trekking down to Timpohon Gate.
Collect your Certificate of Achievement at the Kinabalu Park Headquarters and stop by the Balsam restaurant for afternoon tea before making your journey back to Kota Kinabalu.
