Description:
Make the most of your time in France with this 3-day tour to Normandy including the historic WWI Landing Beaches and the walled coastal town of St. Malo. Visit the world-famous site of Mont St. Michel, and spend the final day exploring the magnificent chateaux of the stunning Loire Valley.
Day 1 – Rouen & the Landing Beaches of Normandy
Heading west from Paris, reach the historic town of Rouen and explore the American Landing Beaches of Omaha, and the poignant Cemetary of Saint Laurent. Spend the evening with dinner and overnight accommodation in Caen.
Day 2 – St. Malo & Mont St. Michel
The next day, make your way into the region of Brittany and the walled port town of St. Malo. Enjoy some free time to explore the history and serene beaches before departing for Mont St. Michel. Spend the afternoon at the world-famous Mont St. Michel, with a guided tour of its hilltop abbey. Your hotel for the evening is located in the town of Angers.
Day 3 – Chateaux of Langeais, Chenonceau & Chambord
Your final day is spent in the countryside at 3 of the most famous of the Loire Valley chateaux. Marvel at the striking beauty of the white-stone Chateau de Chenonceau, and enjoy strolling through the manicured gardens of the Chateau de Langeais. End your day at the icon of the Loire Valley, Chateau de Chambord, with its palatial Renaissance symmetry and unforgettable façade.
