Description:

From a simple shoe factory to the glitzy catwalks of Milan, follow the story of a humble shoe maker trying to make it big with help from a surprising friendship. With songs by Grammy® Award-winning star Cyndi Lauper, Kinky Boots combines an inspiring story with joyous music and spirited vibes.

Inspired by true events and based on the 2005 British-American film, Kinky Boots, this musical celebrates the love of friendship, hope, and the power of determination. Charlie Price—a local Northamptoner—has inherited his father’s modest shoe factory and is struggling to keep the business intact.

Unexpected help is at hand as Charlie meets Lola—a fabulous SoHo cross dresser. In glamour, glitz, and style, they take to the catwalks of Milan with their ultimate drag shoe design, and try to revamp the business.
