Description:
The sound of the conch shell and the beating of drums welcome you to the luau. Feast on a traditional Hawaiian buffet and be entertained with lovely Polynesian revue featuring authentic dances and a grand fire knife finale.
On the charming shoreline of Ka'anapali, be welcomed into a tropical garden with a refreshing mai tai or tropical punch drink. Gaze at the lapping waves as the sun sets, leaving the sky an assortment of colors. Traditional arts and crafts demonstrations offer a glimpse into old Hawaii as well as souvenirs. Be sure to watch the traditional imu ceremony—where a pig is unearthed from a Hawaiian underground oven for dinner.
As your host takes the stage, the show starts with a Polynesian fashion show that features examples of the island's exotic pareaus (sarongs). With a break in the show for dinner, the all-you-can-eat buffet offers a generous assortment, including tossed salad, kalua pork, huli huli chicken, grilled fish, Polynesian rice, fruits, vegetables, and a lavish dessert bar.
After dinner, sit back and enjoy as the Polynesian drumbeats start and the show begins. With traditional dances and songs from Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti, Tonga, and Rarotonga, you'll be mesmerized by talented hula dancing and the dazzling fire knife finale.
