Discover the raw beauty of Milford Sound—one of the world's great natural scenes—from the air on this helicopter flight. Fly the length of a fjord, land on the rugged coast, and head back for views of Mitre Peak and vistas of mighty glaciers as you explore this breathtaking region.
Nestled into the Tasman Coast is what Rudyard Kipling described as the eighth wonder of the world—Milford Sound. Soar over the charming lake and head for the wild beaches of the seashore. Land here to feel the refreshing sea breeze in your face. Then head back over the inlet and take in its pristine water flanked by steep cliffs, interrupted only by cascading waterfalls.
Shortly after, set down again for a short nature walk to a prime viewpoint and capture a prized picture of Mitre Peak—one of New Zealand's must-see landmarks. On your return to Queenstown, there's 1 final stop on the glacier of Mount Tutoko, Fiordland National Park's highest peak. Feel the snow beneath your feet and the cool mountain air.
