Description:

Explore the distinctive landscapes south of Muscat and explore the natural wonders and ancient ruins of the Oman coast on this full-day tour. Your skilled driver navigates the 4x4 vehicle over the terrain, with rocky cliffs on one side and the Arabian Sea lapping charming beaches on the other.

Begin at the Bahmah Sinkhole, a collapsed chamber in the limestone rock. The attractive blue-green lake at its center drops to a depth of 98 feet (30 m), and you can enjoy a refreshing dip while you're here. Another spot for a swim is the glorious beach at Fins, where the white sand and tranquil surroundings create an idyllic place.

Continue to the picturesque villages of Wadi Shaab and Tiwi, virtually identical and charming coastal settlements.

Further down the coast are the ruins of Qalhat, once a major seaport. The highlight here is the ancient mausoleum of Bibi Maryam. While perched on the cliff, admire contrasting views of the desert and coast.
