Discover the cities of Kyoto and Nara on this full-day private tour. Marvel at cultural sites in Kyoto like Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple, and Kyoto Imperial Palace. Break for a local lunch before exploring Nara, with sites like Todaiji Temple, Nara Park, and Kasuga-taisha Shrine.

Enjoy the convenience of private hotel pickup and make your way to Kyoto. Upon arrival, head to the ancient Nijo Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and let your guide show you its unique features.

Then visit Kinkakuji Temple to explore each floor with unique architectural designs, not to mention a roof that's covered with gold leaf. Continue to the vast Kyoto Imperial Palace, spanning 4,300 feet (1,300 m) north to south and 2,300 feet (700 m) east to west. Follow your guide as you explore the palace grounds and garden.
