Description:
Peddle through the plantation farms and small villages of Nevis to explore the history of the islands. You also have the opportunity to hear the tales of famous islanders on your tour. Frequent breaks make this bike tour suitable for all skill levels.
After you are paired with your mountain bike for the day, hit the small, island roads and trails that lead you to old sugar plantations, including the Nisbet Plantation, home to Fanny Nisbet. Born on the island, Fanny is most known due to her second husband Horatio Nelson, a highly decorated British officer who fought during the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars.
Stop for a beak at a local snack bar before continuing on through the villages of New Castle, Camps, and Fountain, enjoying the gorgeous tropical scenery and rocky shoreline as you peddle along. You guide is there to provide information and answer any questions you may have about the island along the way.
