Description:
Ride west from Waikiki to the Ko Olina Golf Club for a round of 18. Hop in your GPS-equipped golf cart and traverse Ted Robinson's stunning design, which features multi-tiered greens, expansive landing areas, and charming water hazards.
After easy hotel pickup, take in the Oahu coast on your journey west. The Pacific Ocean extends out to your left, its waves breaking on the white sand. Upon your arrival at Ko Olina, take a look around the clubhouse. Its 35,000 square feet (3,250 sq m) of space, pitched Hawaiian roofs, and broad overhangs are a testament to the club's high standards.
Then take a seat in your cart, whose GPS includes maps, yardage, and scorekeeping abilities, and set out for the course that won Hawaii Magazine's “Best Golf Course in Hawaii 2013.” Step into the same tee boxes that Michelle Wie used to refine her skills, traverse the verdant fairways, and choose your club carefully around the course's many water features.
After a take a breaking round in the Hawaii sun, unravel in the locker room with a Jacuzzi, sauna, or shower. Then rest on your convenient ride back to your hotel.
