Description:
Spend a captivating day immersed in Pearl Harbor's epic and dramatic past, which will live forever in infamy. Explore Oahu's North Shore as you visit several historic and picturesque sights like the Byodo-In Temple and Nu'uanu Pali Lookout.
Arrive at Pearl Harbor, and take part in a recorded audio-guide tour of the interpretive exhibits, galleries, and the film room that shows a short documentary. Then, board a Navy-operated shuttle boat to the USS Arizona Memorial.
Next, you visit Dole Plantation, also known as “Hawaii's Pineapple Experience.” Here, you can see pineapples from all over the world and try the delicious Dole Whip soft-serve ice cream.
You then head to the scenic North Shore—the surfing mecca of the world—to soak up views of the stunning beaches and experience Oahu's most popular places, unique culture, and rich history. After the North Shore, visit the Byodo-In Temple. This picturesque Buddhist temple is a half-sized replica of the 950-year-old temple in Japan.
Finally, take in the stunning Nu'uanu Pali Lookout. The panoramic views of the windward coast allow you to see the site of the historic Battle of Nu'uanu.
