Description:
On this full-day tour, travel around Oahu tasting the finest local coffee and chocolate. Learn about the island's famous local produce, breathe in the deep, rich aroma of cacao beans, and see up close how chocolate is made. Along the way, enjoy a delicious lunch and plenty of stunning coastal views.
After convenient pickup from your Waikiki hotel, arrive at the Waialua Sugar Mill. Here, taste locally grown and produced coffee, its rich flavor aided by volcanic soil and a sub-tropical climate. After learning about the production process, set out for Shark's Cove, one of the North Shore's most exquisite coastlines.
Snap a few photos of the pristine water and craggy rockery; then head to Kahuku for a guided farm tour. Inspect the island's renowned fruit, including papaya, banana, and guava before sitting down to lunch. Your pizza or panini is washed down with a delicious fruit smoothie. After lunch, it's time for chocolate.
Find out firsthand how chocolate is produced, beginning to end, at the Manoa Chocolate Factory. Next up is the award-winning Madre Chocolate Shop, where you sample rich chocolates blended with fruit and Central American spices.
On the way back to Waikiki, take a few last-minute pictures, appreciate the lush natural scenery, and listen to your guide's last tidbits about the area's natural history.
