Description:
Board a chairlift that takes you to the top of Mystic Mountain in the heart of Ocho Rios. Then spend your day speeding along in a bobsled, ziplining through the forest canopy, or taking a walk through the hummingbird garden.
Your shuttle ride from Montego Bay takes you to the bottom of the mountain; take a seat on the SkyExplorer chairlift for a gentle ride 700 feet (213 m) to the top of the mountain. You feel the breeze from the ocean as you climb above the lush treetops with the bay of Ocho Rios below you.
Peruse the mountaintop pavilion and read about famous Jamaican athletes, including the 1988 Olympic bobsled team. Take the stairs up to the lookout tower and let the views of Ocho Rios awe you. At Mystic Dining, enjoy contemporary Caribbean cuisine and a refreshing cocktail or beverage while admiring the ocean views.
The hummingbird garden is full of flowers known to attract Jamaica's iconic tiny inhabitants, including the vervain hummingbird, the second-smallest bird in the world. Cool off at the waterslide and infinity pool before taking a nature hike or riding SkyExplorer back down the mountain.
