Your tour starts with a comfortable coach bus ride to Gatorland, which was founded in 1949 and features a 110-acre (45-ha) theme park. Explore the “Alligator Capital of the World,” and view thousands of alligators and crocodiles from the boardwalk and observation tower.

After the gators, catch a reptile show, fly by the aviary, visit the petting zoo, venture out on a swamp walk, or take part in educational programs. Close your eyes, and take in the sounds of the Central Florida wilderness as you enjoy the fresh air.

The park is known for rescuing nuisance alligators from trappers that would otherwise be killed for their meat and skin. Interestingly, the breeding marsh in the park was used in the filming of the 1984 movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
