Description:
Departing out of S. Las Vegas Executive Airport. Leave the crowds and casinos behind and soar above the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Grand Canyon’s West Rim on this thrilling air tour.
After liftoff, look through the over-sized windows as the desert landscape moves quickly below you. Your pilot points out Fortification Hill, an extinct volcano, and Lake Mead, the largest man-made lake in the United States. Watch as the Hoover Dam holds back billions of gallons of the Colorado River and produces power for the entire region.
As you fly over the Grand Canyon, observe the multi-colored walls that are laced with crimson, orange, and black. The helicopter descends 3,500 feet (1,066 m) into the canyon and lands on a convenient outcrop 300 feet (91 m) above the rushing Colorado River.
From your rocky overlook, enjoy a snack and a cool beverage. Top off your experience with a champagne toast before heading back through the charming Black Canyon on your way back to S. Las Vegas.
