Description:

Have an up-close encounter with majestic humpback whales in their natural habitat. Cruise along the calm waters of Exmouth Gulf, watch your captain and guides track sea mammals, and learn about the travel patterns of humpbacks.

After departing from Exmouth Marina, board your comfortable vessel and cruise along the coast of Exmouth Gulf in search of the great humpback whale. Keep an eye out on the horizon for whales breaching. Gently swimming through the shallow bay, the marine mammals might even slap the water or perhaps take to the surface to look at you.

As you see whales perform tail slapping, breaching, and pectoral slapping, hear about the social and adaptive behaviors from your informative tour guide. Your captain maintains a respectful distance, but these charming creatures occasionally like to swim right next to the vessel. When they do, take the opportunity to have pictures taken by the photographer onboard.
