Description:

Embark on a guided adventure of Mt. Rainier, known as Washington’s crown jewel, and experience all it has to offer. Explore the slopes of this active volcano boasting a variety of wildlife, old growth forests, glaciers, and waterfalls.

Journey in a luxury vehicle to what locals simply call “the mountain.” The city fades away as the forest, wildlife, and hints of snow indicate your approach to the grand Mount Rainier. Be on the lookout for deer, bears, and elk as you venture farther up the 14,411-foot (4,392-m) peak. Your guide gives naturalist interpretation as you travel. Making several stops along the way, take in the fresh alpine air and learn about the forests, lakes, and waterfalls that dominate the landscape.

With grand views down to one of the park’s largest glaciers, hike along the short trail loop of the Nisqually Vista Trail. On a winter day, you may even need to strap on snowshoes. Your adventure includes an ‘on safari’ lunch served with Washington wines and refreshments.
