Description:
Ascend to the skies above Hobart city and witness the vast surroundings of the sprawling metropolis. Take off from Derwent River on a seaplane ride to admire the views of Tasman Bridge, Government House, and other attractions of Hobart.
Sit tight with headphones on as your seaplane speeds through the waters of the Derwent River and takes off into the skies. Look out the window and enjoy the panoramic aerial views as your seaplane flies you over Tasman Bridge, Wrest Point Casino, and around Derwent River to spot bottlenose dolphins. Head south along the coast and catch a glimpse of Australia's largest private museum, the Museum of Old and New Art.
Continue to soar high above the ground as your pilot points out interesting landmarks and takes you through Mount Wellington, home to more than 500 native plant species and various ground animals like potoroos, bettongs, bandicoots, and possums. Northern Bruny Island soon appears in sight as your pilot circles around, followed by the locals’ favorite marine destination of D’entrecasteaux Channel.
Finally, pass through South Arm and Opossum Bay, and enjoy your final scenic views of Hobart and its historic waterfront before landing back on the Derwent River.
