Description:
This unforgettable kayak adventure under the stars begins at sunset. Paddle through the bay and marvel at the amazing bioluminescent plankton lighting up the water as you row.
Your tour begins in the small fishing village of Las Croabas. Review the tour and safety procedures with your guide before being helped into your gear. The Las Cabeas de San Juan Nature Reserve contains a seemingly mystical channel that leads to a natural tunnel of mangroves.
This area is filled with amazing sights and sounds. Paddle through the bay as your guide tells you about birds and marine life in the area, as well as its history. The bioluminescent blue-green plankton circle around in the water as you make your way into Laguna Grande.
Farther along, view the picturesque rainforest and lighthouse of Fajardo as you learn about the area and recent conservation efforts. Finally, paddle past Bird Island and enjoy the numerous birds that roost there in the evening.
