This full-day adventure kicks off in a fun 4-wheel-drive Mercedes Benz “unimog” jeep, where your group journeys over rugged terrain and past remote, traditional Mexican villages. Along the way your knowledgeable tour guide shares trivia and interesting facts about surrounding landmarks and architecture.

Leave the resorts and suburbs of Vallarta behind as you drive into the Sierra Madre Mountains. Arrive at a local home and take a deep breath of savory corn tortillas being made by hand. Try samples of guacamole, beans, cactus salsa, and the fresh corn tortillas.

Deeper into the jungle you find the trailhead of an easy 45-minute hike through a vast ecosystem of diverse nature. Your eco-guide illustrates the native wildlife hidden under the jungle's lush canopy—such as armadillos, jaguars, ocelots, iguanas, and parrots.
