Description:

Test your free-spirited nature by exploring one of New Zealand’s most popular and action-packed canyons. A hop, skip, and a jump from the heart of Queenstown and hidden behind a canopy of beech trees, Queenstown Canyon is a world away from civilization.

After you've been picked up from your hotel, spend the short 10-minute ride in excited anticipation as you watch the picturesque Queenstown countryside zip by.

Upon your arrival at the scenic lakeside reserve, your guides fit you with a wetsuit, helmet, life jacket, and safety harness. They walk you through the use of the equipment and provide safety instructions for your time ahead.

Commence the decent by navigating a series of narrow passages and streams. Once you've reached the inside of the canyon, the real adventure begins. Cascade down chutes, plunge into pools fed by Lake Isobel, swim narrow passageways, and rappel down waterfalls.

After 2 hours of “getting wet”, dry off, regroup, and strike a pose for a final group photo before jumping back on the bus and cruising back into Queenstown.
