Explore Vatnajökull National Park, home to one of the largest glaciers in Europe—Vatnajökull. Discover the natural beauty of this pristine natural landscape and admire an impressive glacier as you walk on top of it.

Leaving Reykjavik behind, your tour heads south along the coast, toward Vatnajökull National Park. Upon arrival, you're given free time for lunch, and then, as soon as you've recharged your batteries, the adventure begins with an exploratory hike along the glacier itself.

Your qualified guides help you with your crampons and other gear, so you can safely and confidently walk on the ice. As you hike, feel the ancient ice under your feet and enjoy the scenery, as the gigantic Vatnajökull glacier looms above you. Admire spectacular ice formations, winding sink holes, and deep crevasses.

Next, visit the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon; explore the stunning landscape aboard an amphibious vehicle, gliding between huge icebergs that continually break away from the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier.
