Description:
Interact with nature in this full day tour of the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, where orangutans are given a second chance at survival and the Labuk Bay mangrove forest, to observe the elusive Proboscis monkeys in their natural habitat.
Be greeted by your attentive guide from the doorstep of your Sandakan hotel or airport. Drive 30 minutes to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, where orphaned and injured orangutans are brought for rehabilitation so they can fend for themselves when they are returned to the wild. Witness orangutans feeding up close and watch an educational video about rehabilitation efforts.
Proceed with a delicious lunch before leaving for Labuk Bay, a 400-acre forest reserve abundant with wildlife animals. Make your way to the observation area for an opportunity to view the peculiar Proboscis monkeys in their natural habitat.
At the end of your afternoon, enjoy the scenic sights from your transfer as you make your way back to the hotel.
